Family acquaintance Robert Berchtold abducted Jan Broberg twice during the 1970s. He manipulated Jan and her parents, using threats and elaborate stories to conceal sexual abuse. Her family’s accounts and later documentaries examine the grooming that allowed the abuse to continue.
